was wondering if there are any copys of the flintstones suprise at dinosaur peak ever made for the famicom, real or reproduction?
I've seen some pirates of it for sure. It's not a holy grail or anything.
I see games like "The Flintstones" or "The Jetsons" on the Famicom, but I don't understand; I can't imagine these cartoons or subjects being popular in Japan? Or am I just completely wrong and they are popular in Japan just not as much so in the States?
Ive got a pirate mini famicom cart (originally went in a Super Joy famiclone) it has one of the Flintstones games on it (dont remember which)
i have one ;D
I have a single cart of flintstones 2 for famicom, it is for sale if you are interested :)

Is it a pirate cart? As far as I'm aware, Dinosaur Peak was a NA exclusive.
Yes it's a pirate. I have a copy as well. You gotta think though the game wasn't released in Japan but in other countries including Latin America so the Japanese probably never played this game back then. They can now via emulators though lol
I've seen a Japanese version - or is that another Flintstones game?

This one is the first Flintstones game. The second one is much rarer Stateside, supposedly a rental exclusive.
gotcha - it figured that might be it. Is the 2nd one any good to play?

I thought it was a fun game. It is not the best game I ever played, but it is entertaining enough to play for the hour or so it takes to beat it. :)
