normally I dont emulate because playing the real thing is better, but I downloaded a .FDS file and I want to play it. It works fine, I load side a and then it prompts me to load side b, but how do you do that on an emulator?
it depends on what emulator youre using, check the pull down menus or "options" and it should say "side B' or something like that.
You can also try pushing F5-F8 -- I forget which. But one of those will eject the game and another will switch the sides. I wouldn't recommend just pushing them to find out. There's probably more info in the emulator or online.
ya, I got it.
I use FCE Ultra, it's F8 to take it out, F6 to switch sides, and F8 to insert the newly switched side.
On my version of FCE Ultra it's E to Eject, I to Insert, & S to Switch sides, which makes it really easy to just guess. :P
How is it done?
I think you need the file called DISKSYS.ROM.

Yeah, you need the FDS bios. Put it in the same directory as the FCE Ultra executable. F6 and F8 function as the "eject/insert disk" and "flip disk" buttons.
Ah thanks I didn't see that topic.
