I wanted to find a Famicom light gun to use for the gun games on my Twin Famicom, but it's too expensive. I found a Joy Card Famicom to Playstation controller adapter. I'm thinking of buying it because my PS2 controller is more comfortable for my big hands. Squeezing them together on my Twin Famicom controller is making my hands go numb. Plus, Playstation guns are cooler than anything I've seen online! Some of them look like the real thing! Am I nuts, or does this seem like a good idea to anyone else?
I *seriously* doubt the Playstation gun will work through that adapter.
Just use an NES zapper. It's a very simple modification - you just have to change the connector.

Yeah it will absolutely not work. It isn't the same technology or anything in the PS gun.
But the NES Zapper do work and it's cheap. I also suggest to buy a Zapper and change the connector or just have an adapter made for it.
