I have a Famicom with motherboard 1984 HVC-CPU-07. It is PAL since I used to play it in Hong Kong.
I also have the disk system and a few diskette games. (zelda 1+2, Metroid 1, Mario Brother 2)
Ideally I want to check if everything still work then sell them.
But I am in USA now. Everything is NTSC and I have no access to PAL VCR or TV.
Question: How can I test it?
I can
1) Sell as is
2) Find a PAL TV / VCR to test
3) AV Mod to NTSC (too much work)
Thanks for your help!

you forgot about multi-system TVs/VCRs which support PAL/NTSC
Multisystem TVs are fairly uncommon in the USA. You can hook it up and scan thru the channels, and maybe you will get some kind of signal. At least you would then know it is running. Otherwise sell it as-is. Very resilient hardware, and basic issues (worn belt, bad pin connectors) are an easy fix for someone looking to have a nice condition FC.
You might be better off AV modding it as the motherboard is the same as the Japanese Famicom. By doing that, you'll bypass the RF/power board and you won't have to worry about finding a multisystem TV.
