Title: Megadrive power supply for AV Famicom? UK

Hi there, sorry if this is in the wrong place but I am desperate for an answer to this question,

Can I  use a SEGA AC Mains adaptor 1602-05 240v - 50hz 10v - 1.2A on a Japanese AV Famicom system?

A model 1 mega drive psu will work just fine.

So just to be clear,  the UK Megadrive adaptor I described will work 100% perfectly with an AV version Famicom? Sorry to nag but I just want to make sure as I don't want to blow her up!

Yes,your UK model 1 psu will work just fine.
