Title: Famicon Composite Mod Help
Post by: Beaps on March 28, 2013, 03:59:07 pm
Hi All,

I tried modding my Jap Famicon tonight & all I am getting is this.

(http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/883/img2003f.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/541/img2003f.jpg/)

I am sure its the transistor they game me is the wrong one. Any ideas what I am doing wrong or where I can get the correct transistor in the UK?

Thanks
B

Just use the transistor inside your famicom and which guide are you using.

Post some pics of your mod so we can see if it's all wired correctly.

^ yep, I take it he wants to know the value of the capacitor and the transistor code you are using

The transistor is Bc635 fcb, the one from 22 to 21 says 104z, the one that connects to video out is 33

Well your using a NPN transistor.I would take out the one your using a use the original PNP transistor and see if that fixes your problem.

Nicely done,as for jail bars the best solution is to get some copper tape that has conductive adhesive and simply slide it under the ppu and ground it to pin 20.
