I found what looks to be a blue jumper. I'm not sure if there's something like that for a famicom, or if it's a piece to a cartridge I was trying to open when cleaning it so that the cartridge would work. The famicom was like 10 years old anyway, so I may have to sell it for parts if I can't fix it. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thank you.
Photo of the piece you found?
Regards.

If it's not a jumper, then it could be a piece of cartridge plastic when I was trying to open it up to clean it.
That must be the least helpful photo ever I can't tell if its a jumper or a lego man's penis
If it is a jumper it should have some visible metal in it. But you can't tell anything from that picture except that it's blue.
Maybe a piece of plastic broke off of the plastic holding the reset button? I can't think of anything else that is that shade of blue. The plastic around the pin connector is often blue, but it's a darker blue than what your photo appears to be showing.

Maybe it's trash that got in from one of the vents.
Sorry I couldn't get a better pic than the one I provided. If the blue plastic is from the cartridge portion, does that mean that a system might not work because that piece is missing and not in the right place?
Most likely not. If It's just a piece of plastic and not an electronic component that is. I doubt this thing came from your Famicom at all. You should be able to tell if it's wholly made of plastic or not. If it is then it can't be an electronic component and thus not important.
