You know what I'm talking about. When you have a certain game plugged into your console, and it makes you think "Shit, that looks awesome."

My current favorite is my Everdrive. I think it's the fact that it captures the essence of my childhood, playing 8-bit videogames, and the fascination I've always had with graffiti growing up.
What's yours?
Whichever game I last played. Which, at this moment, would be Bananan Ouiji No Daibouken.

However if you're asking for my favorite label art overall... then I'd probably say Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu.
For me it's Akumajou Densetsu. That and my Everdrive are always there.
That game looks awesome, Nightstar. Makes me consider finally purchasing an AV Famicom, though I'm still on the fence because my Famicom is already AV modded.

I'm curious, what does your Everdrive look like? My Salamander cart is cut up and ready, but I'm liking how the Hello My Name Is cart came out.
Another one of my favorites is Gun Nac. It has the sentimental spot of being my first Famicom game, and something about it sitting in the console just strikes me as cool. (My carpet needed a good vacuuming that day)

It very much is awesome, my comrade. Banana Ouiji is a wonderful platform game where you control the Banana Prince, who can upgrade his weapon to overwhelming extents along his journey, and create flowers at any time which he can climb up and down, using them to boost his jumps, dodge boss firepower, and give him an extra attack (a spin jump attack as he leaps off the flower). The boss battles are outstanding, the minigames are very fun, even though there is a language barrier with some of them... the quizzes. Luckily I found an answers sheet on a Japanese site, which I must use to complete the game, because at least two of the quizzes are mandatory. One of my favorite games, which I'd recommend you try playing sometime. As for the AV Famicom, it's my personal favorite console, but some people do prefer the original Famicom (or the Twin Famicom), so in the end it's all preference.
Beautiful copy of Gun+Nac, I'll be getting that game soon. Have you managed to clear it yet?
And here is once more, my Famicom. This time with my four most beloved favorite games placed around it.

I like SMB or Rockman 3 in my console.
My Rockman 4 Minus Infinity repro looks awesome, too. ;)
More often than not I have Super Mario Bros. 3 in there. :mario:

EverDrive N8!
Already beat miracle of almana, time diver eon man, and mother translated!
I gotta have Super Mario Bros. in all the "hero" shots of my console.
After some thought I must say SMB too. I always liked the artwork since I was a kid and it's almost synonymous with NES/Famicom for me.
Nice label design :)

Nice label design :)
Thanks! I was going for a authentic look. 8)
I think you crammed the logos and product code in a bit funky at the bottom, but it's a nice use of that photography and I really like that idea. Would you mind if I made one similar? I'll share the files after if that's ok. Heck I'll even make a nice box :)
Yes, that looks very nice.
And I'd love to see L__E__T's take on this design.
I'm also making a Konami style label and box. Hope to finish that this afternoon :)
Konami label and carts finished, hope to update with pics later!
Moero! Pro Yakyuu!
My Famicom is the AN-500R Twin Red version. That cart just POPS when I plug it in.

Now that's a fitting combination! :redcart:
Also, who doesn't like pink?

Thanks for the great work on the shell L___E___T
I too have a new favorite. Batman Dynamite! I love seeing the Joker's face taunting me as I play... makes it feel even more satisfying when I blast his creations to smithereens!

That game is next on my list :)
Glad you like the Everdrive shell CMonster, I have pretty much the same one in my AV Famicom most of the time too.
I'd highly recommend you get a copy of it, L___E___T. I just got finished with a no-death run of it, to me it is one of the most satisfying games I've ever played.
I've played it before, DEM Sprites! I died on stage 2 though :(
I might play it again this evening.
My console displays Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Grafitti. :)
