Title: were there some versions of the sega master system that had no boot up screen?

i am asking this question because mine does not. (my system's model no. is 3005-05-B)my one is the mark one with alex kidd in
miracle world built in.

Well thats odd. the bios chip should show the sega logo and a copyright date of when the bios chip was issued - 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, or 1992 if i recall correctly. Mine doesn't have a built in game, but that's because it has the boot loader installed instead.

mine plainly says "SEGA" with no copy right date or anything.
