I was doing some research on Famicom-exclusive action games to add to my collection a little while back, and I was able to find sample gameplay videos of all of them on YouTube. (Which I rely on in deciding whether I want to buy a copy of the game.)
Except for one title:
Tsurupika Hagemaru: Mezase! Tsuruseko no Akashi
I couldn't find anything on YouTube, given several creative spellings of several of the keywords in the title. What's the deal with this? Does anyone have this game? What's it like? It's apparently a late-release published by Jaleco, which makes me very curious about it.
but you could see it yourself at GoodNES, couldn't you?
it's there - "Tsuru Pika Hagemaru - Mezase! Tsuru Seko no Akashi.7z"
I'm not sure what that is. Is that a ROM emulator?
It is a romset of Famicom and NES games, the last version is GoodNES 3.14
Think you can easily google it.
But it's far from complete, so you may wish to find NonGoodNES also
Ok, so I found an online emulator of the game with a Google search. The action stages are pretty much a knockoff of something like Bonk's Adventure, only you're playing in a modern Japanese environment. But there's blocks and blocks of Japanese text before getting to the action sequences. Anyone else actually played this before? Is all that text actually important to understanding the game?
