I am a big 8 bit collector .... and want to share this with you
a friend of mine, also italian, just moved to Tokyo for business reasons and also married a local girl.
He read and speak japanese and love videogames.
Thanks to him I will try to complete my collection of FAMICOM games but also of Tomy Puyuuta, Epoch Super Cassette Vision, Sega Sg-1000 SC-3000, Sega Mark I & II, MSX 1 and 2, etc.
May be we can establish a small business selling you some games. A similar topic I posted months ago but only now this is possible to start with.
Do you have a precise WTB list ? loose or CIB ? new or used ?
which yr. max budget in USD or Euro, shipped ?
May be my friend can look for some games for you and I can submit you an offer, who knows ?

I was curious about Gimmick that I didn't know. Are you sure this game so good to pay so much ? I saw the video on youtube, it seem an annoying platformer like we have thousands... no ?

I ask if the price is for loose or Cib, anyway remember price is in Euro ( 1 euro approx. 1,32 USD ) + 12 / 15 euro shipped to Europe/USA approx.

I completely agree, but most people just want it because it's rare. I don't see the appeal in it.
I have a pirate of Gimmick. I think it's it a neat little game. I'm looking to upgrade to an original copy, especially for the extra sound.

just for yr. info I have the confirmation all games are in loose condition.
Also, my friend visited the specialized stores in Akihabara of retro games and, yes, the games are the double there because visitors are 99% from europe or US so no possibility to buy at good prices.
RECCA / carnival 92 also available from local small sites like our Ebay but prices very high, starting 200 Euro for a loose cart to 500 for a new cib copy

I can pay the double for Elrond if it's CIB. Shipping cost is fine, I live in Sweden so no problem.
Same goes for the other games - I pay well for CIB.
what about the already quoted carts ?
A few of the prices are quite high to be honest.
E.g. I have a Rockman 4 and 5 for 1000 Yen each, that is about 7.50 Euros in my thread, and shipping is less than 2 Euros. You will have a hard time finding anybody paying 35 or 40 Euros plus 15 Euros shipping for these. (Mine are cheaper and still don't sell well. :-[ )
Gimmick is also high at 500 Euros (650$!). It would be okay if it's CIB and in perfect condition.
Others I'd have to check first, too...

Miracles may happen, but you need to find the right shops.
The shipping is especially high, too, since you seem to be saying that any buyers outside of Italy would be on the hook for two international shipping charges. I'd definitely prefer to buy directly from a Japanese source like manuel.
2 times shipping and 2 people wanting to profit... This drives up prices it seems.
