Post by: makaveli on June 12, 2013, 05:56:47 am
Hey

Anyone?

it has some marks on the power points and 7805, tho i checked it with a meter and its showing 13v on both... I have checked the ppu pins gnd and +5 it was only outputting 0.02, thast not right isit?

The cap near the power output 13v also, the small caps that say 50v what are they supposed to output 5v or 13v even tho tey say 50?

Thats where the fault probably lies with the small capacitors what reading am i supposed to get out of them?
My dmm is set to dc 20v

I don't know anything about AV Famicom but maybe you can take some pictures.

The board  should be 5V so 0.02V definitely sounds wrong. I don't think the voltage markings of the capacitors is very important. You'll have to google on how to check if a capacitor is bad or not.

Try replacing the 7805, that sounds like it could be your problem.
