That was a video game mash-up I never thought I would see. I'll have to second Ghegs on this one:  weird and kind of awesome, indeed. The black background actually made it easier to see the enemy projectiles; it was crazy to see how much of a gameplay hybrid it actually turned out to be.

Now, if the brilliant individual(s) who created that want to make a good 8-bit Transformers game, I'd line up to buy a repro.

I like that Mario explodes when he gets hit.  It completely subverts the expected animation.

For anyone else who has been looking for the patch, I've finally found it after searching all afternoon!  It requires a Super Mario ROM as opposed to a Tranformers CnN one.

The archive also contains VS. AIRMAN and other mario hacks.  Luigi no Nazo is in the subfolder which contains the "152.zip" archive.
EDIT:  They won't allow me to link directly.  Go here:  http://smbarchives.run.buttobi.net/
See Where it says 'UPBBS' on the left frame, click the small link right underneath that one
click to show all
scroll down and download "369.zip"

You're welcome.   ;D

I really like the pallet they used. I'd like to see someone put that to the normal Super Mario Bros. stages.

Also that ending. What.
