Title: Sending another person a paypal receipt
Post by: fcgamer on December 15, 2014, 11:10:14 pm
Another member on here needs a paypal receipt from a transaction we did (I sold him some items), so that he can get his item released from customs.  He says that the history in his paypal is gone, however, I can see the transaction in my paypal.  The problem is, I have no idea how to get a receipt and send it to the other member.  I want to help this guy out, but I need to first learn how to do this.  Anyone know?  Thanks.

First you have to get some sort of virtual PDF printer (CutePDF, PDF Creator, Foxit Reader). If you can see the transaction line, then open link "Details" and hit Ctrl-P or CMD-P if you are a Mac user and then choose this PDF creator as printing device. This way you can create PDF file of this transaction details - Paypal can't do it.

Actually, whenever you pay for anything on paypal - you get sent an e-mail receipt.  Sounds like he/she just needs to find that e-mail in their inbox.
