Title: "Multidisc"?
Post by: maxellnormalbias on January 06, 2015, 11:20:22 am
What do you call a multicart that's on a disc? (No this is not a joke!)

For example, Super HIK, Quattro Sports, and Game 'n' Watch Gallery are all different kinds of multicarts. But what about Nintendo Land, or Nerf Double Blast Bundle, or Dreamcast Collection? Are they "multi-discs" or just "game compilations"?

I've always used compilation (http://heavy.com/games/2013/06/nostalgic-collectibles-top-15-video-game-compilations-sega-nintendo-snk/).

Also, that list is sorely lacking the Taito Legends collections.

Edit: Also, multidisc means that a single game requires multiple discs.
