I have another question I want to ask: does anyone know of a good and affordable Famicom Disk specialist who can fix Disk Systems? When my uncle and I opened my disk drive to replace the disk belt, it started acting like no disk was inserted even when a disk was inserted. Some time later, I was told that it was because one of the sensors was somehow damaged. So, I've been thinking about getting my Disk System sent to someone who can fix/replace the damaged sensor(s) or, at least, a way to fix sensors.
Buy another working FDS

Don't think that hadn't crossed my mind. I'll buy a new one as a last resort.
From what I recall, Ericj is good with FDS. Maybe try sending him a PM.
I may have to send him a PM as well. Not sure if I can 100% fix my drive on my own.
