wow! interesting thing, though the build quality seems to be extremely bad, however, i don't like the overreacting of the guy. he's making too much of the drama.
i have had atari2600 clone with a dozen of built-games. its box cover art was designed the same way.
the same grey dots throughout and rainbow colored text HOME COMPUTER or whatever it was. the same style of in-game screenshots. the only thing, it was from early 90s. (http://atariage.com/forums/uploads/monthly_02_2010/post-25571-126616161006.jpg)
the box says it's 3600. so I wonder, could it be marketed as successor of 2600? :)
heh yes the design is slimier , may be because it is for Arabian market .
I do not know about successor of the 2600 , but my famiclone from childhood was"VIDEO FAMILY GAME 3600" And was NOAC but good one with good picture and sound, color was NES scheme .
I remember that many years I used to play it from RF, because I was little and did not know about AV :D
