I don't know if it's possible but would a live chat at the bottom of the page be a thing to be considered? I only ask as a few forums I have been with have had one and it allows conversations to be held outside of threads. I am not trying to move away from threads I just think it may reduce repeat threads like :
Person 1: I was thinking about posting a thread about such and such
Person 2: hmmm I think there is a thread already here is the link.
I think maybe it will also get us all chatting more. If its a stupid idea I will delete the thread but it was just a thought I had is all.
i think it's like using a manual toothbrush and an electric one at the same time, in the same mouth
not to mention all the integration work for no good reason except wasting someone's time doing it
Ahh but they would be more efficient and be able to clean double the teeth.
