The HVC-027 disk cleaner features replaceable cleaning pads and this is a handy feature. However, I've never found replacement pads so I've made my own!
It was challenge to find the right pad material, thankfully 3D modeling and printing a replacement housing was trivial.
If anyone is interested in replacement pads let me know and I'll make a listing on eBay.

Neat. Would it be impossible to just scrape out the old foam pad and glue in a new one in the old holder, though?

Yup -- finding the replacement material was the challenging part. Direct replacements are handy for people who cannot or otherwise don't want to get crafty.
