Post by: super56k on October 25, 2006, 02:31:07 pm
What do you do when you are bored and have the following items at your disposal?

Super Nintendo Entertainment System
Super GameBoy
SNES Nakitek Game Saver+
GameBoy Game Genie
GameBoy Game Shark
GameBoy Mega Memory Card
Poke'mon Blue
Too much time

Simple:

You build an SNES tower of peripherals!!!  :D

(No, I did not turn it on.  Could you imagine the power draw?)  :o

First image is F-Zero in a open DPFQ+ which is mounted on a converter. At the time i was testing different diskdrives for the DPFQ+.

Second image is FDS+RAM Adapter+TGD6+ + H.E.S. Unidapter + NES.

Images are taken from my living room.. ;)

That's awesome. ;D

It's cool how that type of thing can be done, and shown. Neat to look at. ;)

Man, I thought my Top Loader/Game Genie/Game Genie Adaptor/Famicom Adaptor/Famicom game combo was insane. :o

Another thing you can do is find a bunch of multiplayer adaptors & see what you can do with them. :D

The H.E.S. Unidapter is great for playing famicom games/setting up FDS with a frontloading NES. It's not too common though.

Yeah, I forgot to include my "Poke'mon MonsterBrain", and I wish I had an SNES "Game Genie" to add to the mix.

That "Unidaptor" looks friggn' awesome, too bad that It requires one local game to be tied up.  Although, my lockout chip is dissabled, I wonder if the unit works without a local cart plugged.  Oh well, I could always use a "Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt" cart.  ;D
