Anyone have one of these? I'd like to be able to use the FDS on my front loader NES without using a wonky Game Genie/Famicom converter combination so getting one of these seems like the way to do it. If anyone's curious this is what it looks like:

consoles uk has the game key adapter http://www.robwebb1.plus.com/nes/nes.htm

you would have to disable the lockout chip on your system though

That's not much better than using the GG+converter route though, can you imagine how wobbly that combination would get with a Famicom converter plus FDS RAM adapter setting on top?

you dont need a famicom convertor its a 60-pin port on the top

Are you sure about that? Isn't the game key just a converter for playing other region 72-pin NES games on your NES? One slot for the foreign cart and one slot for a cart with the lockout chip that matches the console's. There are NES-style carts on the picture anyway.

My mistake your right I misread the document on console database you do need a 60-72 converter
