So I finally broke down and bought a PS3. The best buy near me was having a deal on 60G versions, buy one and get a free controller and free copy of heavenly sword, so I snatched it up. They were (the 60G versions) all gone the following day.

Anyway, my PSN name is "vealchop79" if anyone wants to add me.

I'll add you as soon as I get mine.  :P
This will be in late 2008 or even 2009, I don't know yet, but I want one for Oblivion. (a always breaking 360 is NOT and option ;) ).

Actually my 360 has never given me a problem. I hear a lot of stories of them breaking down, but mine seems to work without fault since day 1.

A friend from another board I frequent always said the same. Now he's on his 3rd... ::)
I just don't want to buy a console that is likely to break without cause every now and then.

And I'd choose a PS3 over a 360 because of the BluRay playback. Plus, PS3 has the superior DVD upscaling from what I've read.

Your friend could have bought a ps3 instead of 3 360s!

Well, he didn't buy 3 of them, only one. He got free replacements because of warranty of course.
He has a PS3 and a Wii, too I might add. ;)
