Hi everyone. Long time no see right? Sorry about that. I've been doing a lot of work with my site/store these days so I haven't had a lot of time to do more than read what's new and happening.

Anyway, I've been working on a price guide for Famicom games for awhile now. It's a pretty intense project as you might imagine. Today I finally got to the point where I have enough compiled information I felt I could post it:

What I'd like from any of you is to tell me what prices you think are off. Most of these are based off a combination of what they sell for in Japan and what other stores and sites sell them for in America. While I've done a heck of a lot of research on my own for this, I think anyone who has spent a good while looking for a specific game will understand the market for that more than me.

I'd really like the items with high prices checked as those are always hard to call and of course anything where I couldn't find a price anywhere. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Some seem high and some seem low. I'm not a CIB collector, so I'm not help with that. But, for instance,  I think a loose Akumajou Dracula 2 disk isn't worth $30. I don't see Bubble Bobble 2 worth $150 loose, as it sells for $80 loose quite often, so if you tack on a few dollars for your purposes, maybe $90-100. And you have Armadillo at $9. It sells for more, at least in the US because of the Mario IV hack fanaticism. Batsu and Teri at $7.40 is kinda weird. :D I think Punch-Out!! gold (not Mike Tyson's) is about $50 too much. I think Splatterhouse is low by about $5. Recca is high by about $100-150. I've never seen Tag Team Special sell for $1,500; maybe closer to $400-750. I got Wild Gunman loose for a $1. Family BASIC V3 without the hardware might be worth about as much as you list it with the hardware, minus about $20-30. ROB and the Titler seems a little on the cheap side. You ought to add the square-button Fami, which sells high.

I hope you continue to share this list with us. We're gonna add that feature to the site someday; it's planned as a part of the new design.

Thanks a lot JC! It really is a big help. Some of these I know what they sell for in Japan very well, but it's been hard to judge the overseas prices. People are always asking way too much on rarer/in demand items so it's a nice basing you're giving me there. I'll make updates to the guide now. Thanks a lot! As always, Famicom World can feel free to use any of the info on my site of course. :)
