RetroZone's Wii RetroPort Question

Does anyone know if the Wii SNES & NES RetroPorts work in the HBC with emulators?

Has anyone tried this?

I'm thinking of getting the gamecube port version since I'm not 100% on whether the USB type will work in the Homebrew Channel.

The USB NES RetroPort does not work with any Wii emulators. I've already tried it.  I don't think many emulators on the Wii support USB controls in the first place, do they?

I was thinking more of the ports with the gamecube connectors they have since all the emulators work with the GC controllers.I figured the USB ports wouldn't work.

I decided to buy a couple of the GameCube NES & SNES RetroPorts. I'll follow-up with whether they work on the Wii in the HBC or not.

EDIT: Just wanted to follow-up on this. I got the NES & SNES RetroPorts (for the GameCube connectors) in the mail today and they work perfectly with emulators on the Wii.

Anything out of the gamecube port works with homebrew if the homebrew supports gamecube controllers.

I can use a PS2 controller with an adapter I have on my Wii for gamecube games, Wii games that support it, and homebrew without an issue on my Wii.
