Hey guys, I could put this up on ebay, but I thought I'd offer it to any collectors here first.

I'm selling one of the rarest North American NES carts around, Zombie Nation.

Game is in perfect working condition with a perfect label.

$165 free shipping worldwide. Paypal only. Might consider trades too, but I'd prefer just to sell it.

It's incredible how much the price has skyrocketed on this game. This was only a $25 game about three or four years ago, when I started bulking up my collection. I fortunately snagged one with a manual before the price went nuts. But if anyone here has the dough and is lacking a copy of this game, I'd recommend it to shooter fans. It's pretty tough, but it's also enjoyable and unique.

I hope you didn't mis-read my post and think I was crapping on your price. I'm just relieved I bought mine before the price went crazy on this.

If you're not getting many bites here, it's probably because most here would prefer a 60-pin version of the game, which is much cheaper. I saw a CIB FC version of this sell for $50 with a completed listings search.

the Tengu version is cheaper because its far more common, and it's plot isn't nearly as nonsensical.

Nerdynebraskan wasn't criticizing Satoshi Matrix's price, in fact it seems to me like he was doing just the opposite, acknowledging that the value of this game is indeed high. I don't think a few posts regarding this game's value and regional differences will hurt his sale, as anyone wanting to purchase this game is probably intent on getting the U.S. version.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

Holy shit, I feel lucky for having bought this when it was cheaper!

everything is rare now a days lol,
but ya very fun game

satoshi_matrix

Well, I suppose it's a matter of degree. You could argue that Super Mario Bros. Duck Hunt is rare now since it's not in one out of every three households as it was three decades ago, but us actual retro gamers will know that's a meaningless statement.

When it comes to Zombie Nation though, it IS a rare game.

As I said in the opening bit, I'm also open to trades. As time goes on, the rarest stuff will only grow in value for completionists and collectors. A lot of jerks on NA might say cash only but I'm pretty much open to any reasonable offer.

nerdynebraskan

You'd probably have more luck finding a home for this on NA, if you don't already have this posted there. There's a lot more 72-pinheads hanging out over there. (No offense, intended. I'm primarily an NES man myself.)
