WHY pirates?

Rockman 1-6? Yes it's sweet I have simillar pirate at home and I got it for around $30 with shipping.
But all 6 originals for $50? We can deam on living in Japan...

and to the original topic - I have many pirates but although the "inovations" of some chinese rom hackers makes me laugh, I don't think it is worth collecting - with exceptions of some very sweet compilations like the mentioned rockman 1-6 or my favourite 700-in-1 (not THE 700-in-1 form eBay) what was my first cartridge (I was about 10 years old) so it has sentimental value to me...
