Okay here are the results:

Not counting some of the extra crap floating around my place (generic multi carts and the like), I have the following in my collection:

1350 carts
31 disks

which leads to a total of 1351 items in general.  That's a hell of a lot of items, and with that said, I think I am going to try to spend the next few months researching and playing these old games, while placing my purchasing on hold.  We'll see how long that lasts though

It is a pain to inventory your collection / mess of games, and I've already discovered some which I had two or three copies of.  Oh well, at least I know where I stand with my personal goals, and I am glad to be able to turn my organization into somewhat of a contest, for others to enjoy.  It also just makes me want to see the collections of some others even more - I know there are a lot of guys on here with quite impressive collections, and also a few (quiet) western collectors with a lot of cool goodies. 

With that said, here are the winners:

Yeah Jackson, I did find some doubles that I pulled out to sell, but some of the licensed doubles I found I just left in there, since I don't have my licensed stuff properly organized.  Next time I get paid, I hope to get a few more storage containers and then properly organize my licensed Famicom games...I am just not sure the best way to organize, maybe by publisher?  I am thinking of keeping my favorites with easy access, and then the rest by publisher to make for easy checking.  At that point, I will be able to compare the doubles of my licensed stuff and see which is in the better condition and which I will sell / trade.  Unlicensed stuff though, found some very cool extras, including a second Bignose the Caveman.

I also have some other carts  I am not sure if I will sell or not...the hoarder in me wants to keep them, but the practical side says I should let them go.  What to do?!?

Congrats, you are the winner!  I have 28 games for NES, some of them are autographed by programmers and stuff, carts I will never sell. 

To answer MaxXimus' question, yeah I actually do have a NES...it is PAL and made by Sachen though, so I don't think it really is what you have in mind.  I have two toaster NES machines back in the States, but these days I much prefer Famicom for so many reasons.

Wow. and that was a total pot shot in the dark. I nearly had a heart attack when I found my name their. I don't win things often so when I do its always a fun surprise. Just want to thank fcgamer for hosting this.
