I own a LOT of Famiclones. The NEX, the Retorn 3, The Yobo, gameAxe, etc etc.

The very best clone of all of them is the Retro Duo, which is also a SNES clone. Check out my video review for info on it.

and also heres my tutorial on how to correct the audio to sound perfect.

The best Famiclone would probably be the Dr. PC Jr. Plays Famicom games, but also allows you to back them up to Floppy.

You should check out  "Electrolab" famiclones. And also "Pegasus" and "Froggy".

Electrolab, Pegasus and Froggy are vintage clones common in South American Markets. Have AV outputs and are quite good.

Electrolab clones run games like Castlevania III with no trouble at all.

From what I've read, Pegasuses (or whatever the plural is) were big in a few Eastern European countries as well, Poland in particular.

I guess they're probably all rebranded versions of old Taiwanese clones. I know the Pegasus IQ-502 is a Micro Genius really, they're always good quality.

One thing I'm wondering about these Famiclones is whether they can all play certain pirate carts that don't work on a Famicom. I have a Korean 8-in-1 which doesn't work (my copy of The General's Son was the same) and a 150-in-1 which sort of works, but the graphics are completely messed up. One Famiclone I own plays both of them perfectly fine, but the system itself a POS to put it nicely. :bomb:

They actually are Taiwanese clones. Electrolab Famiclones were made only for Argentina and Uruguay.

I can guarantee you that all of these trhee I mentioned earlier will work properly with every pirate cart. They never had any trouble with any pirate or original or NES cart I had.
