Is this a real Famicom Light Gun?

Hi everyone! Just in time for my birthday I got a sweet lot of Famicom clone stuff from MercadoLibre which included a revolver light gun which looks awfully similar to the original one for the Famicom. :o

Since everything else in the lot that is Famicom related is pirated I naturally assumed the light gun is too, but I started looking at pictures and videos of the original one and the similarities are outstanding, making me think that maybe I could possibly have the real thing without realizing it, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up without some decent proof.

It doesn't say Nintendo anywhere on it which makes me suspicious, but the hammer mechanism works exactly like the original and as far as I can tell from low resolution pictures and videos, it surely looks and works like the real thing.

Here are some high resolution pictures of my light gun (click to zoom):

The cord measures about 127 cm in length and unfortunately both counterweights seem to have been removed by the previous owner (or maybe they were never fitted in case this is a counterfeit).

So what do you say? Could it be the real thing? Anything else I need to look for?

Thanks for your help! :bub:

That's definitely a pirate, real Famicom light guns have a squared-off plug like in this pic:

Wow those guns are awesome, way better than the zappers

That is a great clone, I would be very happy to own one as it looks very close to the real thing.
