Does somario really suck as bad as people say???

I just bought a copy thought the price was right and its kind of a cool game to have in your collection but whats the true breakdown I played the rom years ago and remember getting over it pretty quick but I was using a keyboard so hopefully its better with a famicom controller anyway whats everyone opinon on the game is cause all the reviews I read are awful and whats the good price to pay true value of the baby blue cart somari the adventurer

I think your mileage may vary with this one. I'm not exactly a fan of the game but a lot of people like it for some odd reason. I'm guessing it's either the "so bad it's good" tag or just because it's Sonic on the Famicom.

It's quite good, gameplay, level design, etc. Still it has some bad glitches and other odd stuff. Musics aren't perfect but they do not make ear-rape (unlike Harry Potter 1001).
