got a famicom, fds and some disks from him in great cosmetic condition the fds looked brand new, every thing works perfectly

Lyndis

My FDS and a few of my nonworking disks were serviced by him.  It took a good while, but my understanding is that he was fairly busy with several other orders at the same time.  The FDS now both looks and works great, and so do the disks.  I have a copy of Doki Doki Panic that would only work sporadically before the FDS was serviced - after the system was returned to me, the game worked on the first try.

I also purchased a copy (not an "original") of an extremely rare Disk Writer-only game, Eggerland: Departure to Creation.  He made his own labels for it, which look good, and of course the game works too.  I'm expecting him to send a copy of the manual once he has the time to make it, as well.

Got a FDS and a few games with it in very good condition. Everything works correctly and runs very smooth. It took a while to get here but it was well worth the wait.

+1, what can I say... AWESOME! Thanks for everything Xious.

I received the promised copy of the manual for Eggerland: Departure to Creation and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out!

As with all negative feedbacks, this one requires a bit of a backstory. I won't go into any personal details as a respect for Xious. Just bare bones turn of events.

In January I answered Xious' "Helper Wanted" thread, where he was asking for assistance compiling his store catalog. After I answered a few questions through the forum's PM system he decided to "hire" me so to speak. My task was to write short descriptions for items in his online catalog, as well as attaching tags for the catalogs search system.
Then in April as testing season approached at the university, I told him I'd have to slow down my writing and I wished to cash in my store credit, which was by then 400$. He said this would be no problem and asked me to send him a "wishlist" for what I wanted which I did. This is when things started getting a little hectic. My PMs would not be answered, sometimes for weeks, and when they were answered they were riddled with excuses.  By the end of April I started to get a little frustrated by this and told him so. Then things starting moving again, we decided what things I would get (a twinfami and around 10 carts) and he even agreed to mark the price on the shipping manifest down a little so I wouldn't have to pay a full price to the customs, and he also gave me a part of the shipping cost on credit. I told him I'd resume my work on the website sometime after the package would arrive.
And so the weeks passed and nothing arrived. I contacted him in June and he was apparently as surprised as I was. The error seemed to be with UPS and he promised to get things fixed. Again, weeks, months, lots of PMs... nothing.
So a month ago (21st August) I thought fuck it, not even a shipment from the moon would take so long. I sent him one last PM asking if I should just write the package off and call it quits, cause I was fed up. I decided if I didn't receive a reply in a month I'd write this feedback thread. I've yet to receive a reply to that PM. Xious hasn't been on FW since 24th August.
I don't know if he intends to pay me those 400$ he owes me according to our agreement, or if I wasted roughly 40 hours of work on his website for nothing.
I know people can be busy with stuff, but not that busy it takes them 5 months to pay their contractors. I know Xious is a respected member of this forum and I liked chatting with him, but this had to come out.

Edit: I've spoken with Xious and got this resolved, he was under the assumption that I had disappeared, apparently my methods of contact weren't getting through to him.
