Moon Crystal: rarity/price?

I've been wondering a lot about Moon Crystal lately. I don't believe I've ever seen a copy for sale anywhere, even on eBay. That leads me to believe that it's on the harder to find side, and it's probably not cheap. Repros seem to be plentiful, or at least easy to find (which is how I'm currently playing it). But I'd like to find an actual cart.

So would any of you here have any idea how rare a game Moon Crystal is, how much one could expect to pay for it (loose or CIB, or both), and maybe even know where one could find a copy for sale?

I have seen it in Japan but very rarely. Expect to pay 100$ loose. It has become more notable in recent years due to it being better known.

Oh, to answer the question, I couldn't find a copy for sale online currently, it was sold out at the places I looked.

It's not that rare on Yahoo Japan. You'll see one or two pop up every few months. Got mine CIB for about 120-130 USD to my door.

This is one of those games that's not so much expensive as it is difficult to find someone selling it.

Have a link? I have this on a saved search and have never gotten an email with any listings...

GameBaz had a loose copy in stock for about a year, but some sucker recently paid them about $170 for it. JapanGameStock has their inventory listed as 8,900JPY for a complete copy but it, too, is out of stock indefinitely. Too bad.

Unfortunately no, I stopped watching it because I wouldn't have enough money in time.  Didn't find it in my browsing history, either.

It was located in France, so if your saved search wasn't set to look worldwide then that would be why you didn't receive a notification.

There is actually a loose copy for auction right now, but if it only pops up every few months I would say it is pretty rare.

Well.... there are other games and other games on famicom that I've searched for that have given me much, much more difficulty and quite a bit more patience than "every few months". So relative to those, this one isn't too bad. Sometimes you'll even see 2 CIB Moon Crystals up for sale.

Well, it is relative, of course... I don't know which games you were searching for. 
There's a lot of stuff on YAJ , even CIB Recka sometimes. It is just very expensive.

Recca's not hard to get if you're ready to pay market value. I'm talking about games you can't find even if you have cash in hand ready to go. Games that are hard to find, in Japan itself... online or on the streets.

CIB Recca's one of those games that's always around, just tends to be pricier than most other games. Kinda like Taromaru on Saturn, but a little more rare.

I'm not expecting to find this game anytime soon. Just wish I could get a chance to play it, and I don't ever play ROMs.
