Hey, I am a huge mortal kombat fan, I thought it would be fun to have a couple of pirate MK games for the Fami.  If they are in multi carts it would be ok I guess, but I would mostly want the closest to the real games as a possible none of this "56peoples shit" unless the price is right.  I'd like MK MK2 MK3 but realistically I don't know what is available.  I would really really like if they have been tested on actual famicom systems, not clones, but still hit me up either way I may be interested.  I don't know what they go for, to be honest, so lets be fair here people.

Side note: if there are multiple versions, some of which are WAY better it would be nice to know in advance.

UPDATE:  If anyone has an extra red famicom extension port cover laying around they want to sell let a brotha know, would you?  Thanks guys!

Thanks so much.

Had a couple myself, and from that sample would agree...  General consensus here is that they are all bad.  Should be able to get one for around $12 shipped or so if I recall correctly (been out of the loop for awhile).

In other words, if you're a fan looking to have one around as a "neat" item to have, then you likely don't need to be too picky.

Street Fighter had a better pirate.  Had 2 at one point and one was significantly different and better than the other (don't recall the names).  Still nothing compared to SNES of course.

I have some too :) I even sent some to trenton_net :)
I am back everyone :)

FYI, theres a TON of MK ports, tons of label variations, etc...some are worth a few bucks and some can go for as high as $40

I have multicards with Mortal Kombats.

Thanks for all of the replies.  It is more of a "neat" thing to have as a collector and MK fan, but that aside I would love to pop it in and play a round with a buddy for shits and giggles once in a while.

I have played some of the pirates so I know most are shit.  I can't escape that. ;D

MK3T on multi: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-NES-Famicom-Super-HIK-64-in-1-MORTAL-KOMBAT-3-CITY-CONNECTION-/270973162344?pt=ES_Videojuegos&hash=item3f17425368

Actually I think I have a deal worked out with Parodius Duh for a single cart as opposed to a multi BUT I will keep my eye on that cause it looks way cool!.  Thanks for the heads up dude.

Sidenote: weird to see where someone can ACTUALLY post an eBay auction link in a thread and not have it locked or get banned over it.

We're not on NA or ASSembler here.

VegaVegas

Even if we were, what's the big deal?? Can nobody post just a simple link to a simple legal thing officially available to buy??
