3D System Emulation??

I was curious whether any of the emulators for the famicom actually had some kind of specific 3D glasses support, or planned to eventually offer more support in the future?  By support I mean using whatever 3d glasses you actually had, ie Nvidia 3D glasses, older glasses that work with TriDef DDD or iZ3D supported setups, letting you run at a higher refresh rate for less eyestrain or at least a multiple of 30hz or 60hz or something when possible.

I was actually confused as heck to find the following video on youtube!

They somehow got two individual video streams of gameplay, which could then be re-converted into whatever you have - from lcd viewing, to red/blue viewing, to cross eyed viewing.

I've always been fascinated by 3d everything, and after having the opportunity to view the above footage i'm even MORE interested in it... to me the 3d effect is extremely well done.  But I don't know how you'd get it without using the actual hardware which I assume isn't the cheapest, plus the 30hz eyestrain is uglier when an emulator could theoretically improve that even if it just plays the same frames twice in the same way the movie theaters do it at a multiple of 24fps.

Plenty of emulators support the 3D effect in varying ways. I have an emulator for the Sega Master System that emulates 3D by adjusting the image for use with anaglyphic glasses.

The 3D effect isn't that great, and there's only a handful of games that support it. Still cool nonetheless, but not worth the money if you ask me. I have the glasses and every supported game and I hardly ever use them, although I do play a few of the games a fair bit but prefer to do it in normal 2D mode.

I hate analglyph.  :(  What i'd mostly like is a way to use computer LCD glasses at a higher refresh rate instead of being locked into 30hz if that's possible.

Could you explain (for NES or SMS) how the emulators support 3d?  (not including analglyph, I cant even think about those without having my eyes hurt :( )  When I tried to look for data before I didn't see any real mention of it so i'm assuming it's something newer perhaps.

I know, that for MEKA (an SMS emulator) there is a diagram available for a cable that lets you use regular Fami/SMS 3D glasses on your PC in conjuction with an CRT screen. But that isn't exactly helpful, I suppose^^'
