Honestly you gotta love the crap that 80sFreak says... Haha that was so random...

I just bought arkanoid not long ago. Hopefully the controller is okay.

Don't use acetone! Try to find something in your local electronics shop, do a google search on "contact cleaning spray"

Oh I heard of some spray like that. It was called CRC 2-26 and it's used to lubricate and clean metal parts of electronics and it keeps out moisture to prevent corrosion and oxidation. It's said to be great on joysticks but I don't know if it's OK to use on this.
