"Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" Anyone ever get this?

I checked my shipment from 80'sFreak and I saw this. I've been reading mixed things about this phrase online. I called a contact at JFK Customs and she said that the package hasn't arrived in the country yet.

So, what exactly does this phrase mean and when should I start to worry? It's an EMS package that I paid $120 to ship. That's why I'm asking.

I would guess that the package hasn't left the country of origin yet (or the tracking status hasn't been updated). Could be in Customs in the origin country, or really anything before that.
