I've been searching this site to see if anyone has done this but all I have been able to find are guides on how to mod NES & dogbone controllers to the original famicom. Has anyone done the opposite, wiring an original famicom controller to an NES connector port? The only pinout diagrams I can find are of the side expansion port, not the actual molex connector. Specifically, I am looking for the pinout for controller #2, I want to add microphone capabilities to an AV Famicom. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

i tried doing this once with player one. get yourself a nes controller pcb and player 2 fc pcb. all colors connect to the same except 2. i forgot which ones but they are labeled on the controller boardf as the same

There was a guy that was working on a microphone for the famicom expansion port. Here's the schematic for that atariusa.com/Famicom_Schematics/Microphone/FC_Microphone_Schematic.pdf though he never tested it as far as I know and it should be taken with a grain of salt.

Couldn't you just wire a player II controller to a DB-15 connector and use via the EXP port or ENIO?
