As someone who owned a Game Boy Light and now owns a backlit original GB, I would take the latter any day.

The backlight on those is garbage, I bought a new one from Japan and promptly got rid of it, also you may be able to find one for that price used but the used ones are usually in horrible condition since they came in silver and gold colored versions that chip and fade over time.

If you are not interested please do not post in my sale thread.

The flaw in the top right can be fixed if you take it apart and clean the screen.  It's just residue, it's not the backlight kit.

Trust me, it's not residue, it's inside the backlight, it's mostly covered by the screen protector if it had it.

Look at the picture I attached, you can see the same bar across the top on these panels, I have seen some units on Ebay that had the same bar as well.

Where did you buy the backlight from?  They shouldn't have that...  I see what you mean though, it might be where there's a touch of distance.

I don't remember where I got this one from, I've bought a few of them from different places, didn't notice the mark till I was taking pictures, never really bothered me.

55 shipped is a good deal on a backlit DMG I think, the parts, effort and care involved are worth that to me, it's a pain in the ass mod to do.

They are difficult to mod, the Pocket is even worse.

I modded my buddy's DMG,was the same as the one your selling, was only 2 wires to solder and easy to install, maybe yours is a different kit.
