Hey everyone,

Recently I made a little Dust/Light protector for my AV Famicom...this is just a prototype, but it fits perfect around the system with holes cut for cords around the back and front.

I am however doing a new graphic design for the case. Let me know what you think.

Not going to lie - I was really hoping you were making reproductions of the port cover for the AV Famicom. Xious promised me one, but then his fire happened, and I guess that's that.

I like it. I don't have an AV Famicom yet, but that would be a cool parallel to the dust cover the NES Action Set came with. The one I have is purple with a clear plastic label above the controller port opening that says Nintendo.
I'll probably die surrounded by plastic crap.

Wouldn't it get really hot with this on?  I'd prefer a glass cabinet with a hole for the cord, so I can still see the AV Fami!

Sorry man, do you however have  a picture of this fore mentioned "port cover"?

Exactly! That's where I drew my inspiration from. I thought to myself why does the NES get the love but our Fami Brothers don't! So, he we are... :redcart:

Very True! However, this cover isn't designed to be used with the unit on. It is intended for when the system is not in use. I personally like my Famicom/Nes on top of a table verse inside a cabinet.  8)

How feasible would a regular Famicom dust cover be? I would love one, but the controller storage raises concern.

Heres a prototype by request, its a little bit higher due to controller positioning. I will continue to work on it.

I really like that second proto. It'll be awesome if it actually looked like the Famicom itself. Drawn power button, eject slider, etc.
