I think my Twin Famicom has a serious problem, it won't turn on. At first I wondered if it was just my TV being stupid so I switched to Disk as that has a lamp and always makes noise if it's
on properly, but it didn't start either. The light reacts for a split second when I press and release the power button but other than that nothing. I've tried more than one AC adapter...
I'm hoping it's some sort of internal power unit problem or something else that is fixable, like when I fried my Saturn (it's fixed now).

If you have a volt meter/multimeter, test the input and output on your volt regulator.

Have you tried wiggling around the power connector while it's plugged in and the system turned on? The Twin Fami is known for developing bad solder joints on the rear connectors, it's certainly worth a try.

I tried that but it didn't work.

But.. then I took it to work and a guy who's technically inclined to have look at it, but after opening it up, finding nothing wrong and putting it back and trying it again, and then it worked.
So I have no idea what happened and why it worked again after doing NOTHING about it. Maybe it just needed some fresh air...?
