Does any one know if a 60pin to 60pin exists. I got a Sharp C1 recently and wanted to connect the FDD, but the pins are about an inch to deep to connect the ram adaptor.

I tried piggybacking a fc to nes, and nes to fc adaptor, but it causes errors/glitching. Prolly due to the lockout bypass chip.

The other solution might be a fc action rock game genie, but that's $150...

In theory I could make one, but I don't know where I could get the parts.

Any though are appreciated.

Never heard of a 60pin to 60pin but have to tried to take the ram adapter out of it's shell to see if it would fit.

get one pirate famicom cartage  PCB   :redcart: and on the top solder ISA slot from old motherboard something like my adapter 60 to 72 pin , but in your case cut the ISA slot to be 60 pins long  8)

P.S
the ISA slots are exactly the same spaces between the contacts like 60 pin famicom connectors sot you will not have any issues, but I noticed months ago that the 72 pin NES connector have a tiny bit larger spaces between contacts, so my adapter is working by some magic, so I do not recommend making 72 pin connector with ISA slot any more  :-[

Wow that is pretty intense.

I was thinking about something like that last night. There are these FC to Nes adaptors on ebay. Of the two out there, the pins on this one line up the closest. In theory I think I can dremel off 3 pins on each side and rewire the connections.

I can do 60pin male to 60 pin female adapter for 10$ shipped, just tell me what length from edge of the male connector to edge of female  you need.

As a wrote the spaces between contact traces are slightly bigger on 72 slot then on 60, so you are not 100% save from issues , like in my adapter  , because it is a chance that one contact trace to touch  2 at the same time from the slot it self
