Nanjing's Diablo II rom end-screen glitch garbled graphics

hi folks,

apparently there is a graphical issue with the end-screen in the Famicom game Diablo II, and it occurs in both the dumped rom of the original and in the title screen hack,
you can see it in the last bit of this video:

has anyone seen this happen when playing on a real console with an original cartridge?
and could it be fixed in the rom?
