It is an uncommon title, but it's hard to say why fewer copies are floating around.

The price that sellers have it listed for is deceiving. No one is paying that much. If a copy went for open auction, it would likely end around $50-$75 for a complete copy (which in FDS terms is still expensive, but overall, not badly). It's not as common as Bio Miracle Upa for around the same price, but Upa sells because it's good and by Konami.

Going off topic, this is kind of how I see FDS rarity for released titles. Trying to keep it as general as possible since this is my own experience and only has my observations behind it. Don't put a lot of stock in it and if you think otherwise, you may very well be correct over my guesses. This list is tiered within the FDS release list. While there are a lot of common FDS games, they are in less quantity than their US counterparts and so on but this list is only FDS games against the rest of the FDS library.

Promo Tier: All Night Nippon, the Tax software, Charumera Zelda, the gold Golfs, etc

Top Tier: Both I Am A Teacher sewing/knitting games

More Uncommon Tier: Roger Rabbit, Silviana, Doremikko, Transformers, Nankin Adventure, Monitor Puzzle II, Youkai Yashihi, Youmais, Tarot Uranai, German Tantaidean, Kattobi Douji, Fire Bam, Fire Rock, Dandy, Tama & Friends, Patton-Kun, Dogfight Spirit, Gunfighter, Fuun Shoriken 2, Santa Claus no Takarabako

Less Uncommon Tier: Any else not listed above or below. Konamic Ice Hockey & Bio Miracle Upa.

Common Tier: Anything published by Nintendo, Capcom or Konami besides Doremikko and Konamic Ice Hockey & Upa.  Most titles released in the US.

Basically, the only 2 released retail games that are genuinely rare are the I Am A Teachers. If you're going for a full set of FDS, you get these and the rest of the set is easy mode.

There is a HUGE gap between Top Tier and More Uncommon. Imagine a Rare Tier with no games on it between the two.

And then there's a Diskwriter Only tier. Since anyone can use a FDSstick and a disk to write a game, you're really just collecting labels and possibly the manuals if that's your bag. VS Clu Clu Land and the Famigaga releases are the ones that seem to have any difficulty at all in getting - everything else floats around in decent numbers.

i would definitely put some disk writer games in the rare tier
