I recently picked up a fantastic PS2 to Xbox and Gamecube adaptor that works extremely well with PS2 controllers, arcade sticks and steering wheels. As arcade sticks are fantastic, I still lack something with a solid +pad.

Does anyone know of a rock solid PS2 controller that has a killer D-pad? Maybe something from hori? Price isn't really a factor, just please give some suggestions if you have any.

Thanks!

I remember some time ago, MadCatz made a PS2 controller modeled after an NES joypad that had an AWESOME d-pad on it. I loved mine until I accidentially severed the cable. Check eBay for them, although I can't for the life of me remember exactly what it was called.

Hey get one of those controllers for the ps2 that are for sale on best buy lol. Maybe you'll like them only 15 bucks!

do you still have it? ANY info you can give on this would be helpful, this sounds like exactly what I want. Checked ebay for PS2 controllers made by MadCatz and came up sort of finding the one you mentioned. Thanks

Honestly, I wish I could be more specific. They came in black and grey, and the face buttons all lit up when in use. I wanna say it was called the MadCatz Retrocon or something similar.

Yup that's it! Thanks.

Okay next problem: I'm having a hell of a time finding one.

They're on Amazon, but Amazon will only ship it to US destinations and not Canada for some bizarre reason.

I'll do some further looking, but the way things stand right now it looks like the only choice I have is to see if anyone here who lives in the US would mind piggybacking the controller - that is, it gets shipped to you, then you ship it to me.

Thanks.
