It didn't scare...

Leave house roughly 10:30 PM.

Walk to West bridge and lose brighter of two flashlights.

Continued West to playground.

After much diliberation decided to enter forest with dim light.
(By the way, this originally was to "ding dong ditch" carolyn's house.)

Got through forest with no problems or setbacks.

En route to her house, we decided to make our way to the road to better navigate.

While prepairing to run to the road, we were ambushed by some guy getting out of his car.

We ran back in fright to the nearest group of trees to hide.

At this point, we abandoned our plan to get to Carolyn's house, and instead head towards the nearby park.

We head through a patch of woods and emerge in a new housing district.

On our way to the park (we were running) Nick stepped into a "rice field" and Nick's feet get soaked.

We crossed the field to the park and proceeded to swing.

Made our way into the field a while later.

Heard some raccoons behind a nearby house.

Moved partway into the field attempting to head home and avoid raccoons.

We see a light up ahead that still can't be explained. (It seemed like a flashlight, but was too low to the ground.)

The only other option was to head down the street thus avoiding said hazards and making our trip exponentially longer.

This street, for some reason, decided to curve in a direction that wasn't good.

We ended up near the Wallgreens on 60th Street.

From here, we decided, the fastest route was along the back of Lowe's and the other shops. (This was another happy time with no bad stuff.)

We knew of a shortcut through a small appartment complex and decided to take it.

We couldn't take the short way through the short cut because we discovered a human in our midst.

We were now back on track and heading down the road to the West bridge.

Along the way, near a group of town-houses, John sees a deer.

We think we're going to scare it.

It doesn't scare.

We come to within 3 to 4 yards before it decided to be smart and flee.

So we chase it through the houses and of course we lose track of it.

We get to the West bridge and crossed it.(As we were making our way though the bushes, John pauses after seeing what was thought to be a coyote.)

Near the end of the bridge, (after coming up from the underside) John asks Nick to wait after hearing an odd sound behind him.

When coming out of the bushes at the end of the bridge the noise is heard again by both.(It sounded like a moose.)

Sticks cracked and bushes rustled but nothing of the animal is seen.

Shortly after, a high pitched whistle/howl is heard across the lake, which could not be explained. (It wasn't car tires or some weirdo whistling)

We run home and write this at 11:45.

That reads like a spambot post.  Seriously, after a sentence or two, I scrolled down to the bottom to look for spam links :P

That was my reaction too. You should get a job writing spam scripts, vgthing. You'd make a killing. I mean, you would if they didn't already have computer programs generating scripts automatically.

I had a rough time making sense of the story. It sounded like a bunch of random thoughts strewn together. Good for you, though. Glad you had an interesting time.  :P

You mean Pepsirules's post?  Yeah, it's a pretty common thing on the internet.  I sort of expected that too when I first started reading it.
