It's probably because the staff of the Nintendo that we grew up with are leaving, & the Nintendo now isn't quite cutting it.

I still miss Gunpei Yokoi.

Nintendo didn't give us DVD playback in Gamecube, or Internet play; Wii isn't even HD and the graphics look exactly the same as Gamecube.

I actually think they both look like N64 graphics which worked back then but doesn't cut it by today's standards.

And the Wiimote is nothing special if a Chinese company can basically duplicate it's functionality  on a $30 clone called Sport Vii.

The small disks were a drawback. Just imagine if Melee had Online support... there would be reason to play Brawl ever.

What's with everyone attaching ridiculous standards to graphics (that's why we visit FamicomWorld  )? It's all about gameplay. I'd be fine if  Game Boy and Famicom games were still being made today.
