What if Nintendo used the name Smash TV for the Smash Bros. series?

Any of you heard of that arcade game by Williams, Smash TV?  You have to shoot anything that moves with two joysticks with a friend if you want.

What if Nintendo used that name for the Smash Bros. series?  I think it would go like this;

-The first game would be called Smash TV, and the sequels would be Smash Tv Season "X"
-There would be a live announcer during matches
-There would be a storyline featuring a tournament
-1 player mode would have an ending of your player getting sent home with lots of money
-Instead of floating platforms for Smash-Bros-exclusive levels, you'd be in a stadium

My thoughts? That would be one of the stupidest things Nintendo could do.

Why?  They gave a live announcer to Mario Kart Arcade GP 2.

Because Smash Bros is good enough as it is.  Nintendo doesn't need to change anything.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Also it wouldnt make any sense to change the name, especially not to the name of some other game.

The saying "If it isn't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind.

I feel that "If it isn't broken, don't ruin it" fits better here.

I'm locking this thread for excessive extraneousness.

Seriously, all you've done here is mention Smash Brothers and then describe Smash TV.  Oh hey, they both start with the word "Smash".  You really think that's thread-worthy?

Please think before you make new threads.
