The "Copy Cats" Thread

I recently beat Gun-Dec and loved it. It's cool how it threw a bunch of elements from other gaming and pop culture gems into the mix while still remaining original and influencing future titles in it's own way. This is a thread to discuss these types of "copy cat" finds in Famicom gaming. I'll start.

Gun-Dec:

The main character is so "City Hunter".

The car chase sequences are so "Spy Hunter".

The shooting sequences are so "Nam 1975".

The hawks and panthers are so "Ninja Ryukenden".

The regenerating vines and alien matter are so "Salamander".

On the flipside I think the concept of Hideo Kojima's "Snatcher" was influenced a bit by Gun-Dec. The main characters look nearly identical and the cyber punk atmosphere remains intact.
