Just wondering what this guy says in the FDS version.  Maybe then we can figure out what they were trying to mean.

Apparently, there is another character named Bagu (Bug) that looks the same as Error but didn't get translated as well.
GRRR!

MS-DOS4

I heard somewhere that his real name was Error. Or Euror or something.

Great. Not very helpful.

Edit: Okay, never mind.  I was saying the information from the text wasn't very helpful, but I didn't realize "Bagu" meant "bug."

Now I'm happy. :)

I was trying to be helpful :)
Here is where I found the bagu info:
http://www.zeldawiki.org/Bagu
It seems like it was supposed to be a combined joke with both Bagu and Error, but error was translated litterally and Bagu phonetically so the English version only got half the joke.

Edit:  What you mean repeating the same useless thing I said before isn't helpful?  :-\

I think he was talking to MS-DOS4.

I want to play Zelda II for the first time but I have no idea how to save. Whenever I gain experience and level up and turn the system off, the experience reverts back to 000. Does Zelda II not keep track of experience gained or do you need to reach certain points or something? Basically, I'm not sure which version to play yet, so I'd like to know how to save in:

FDS original
NES port
Classic NES GBA port

thanks.

The NES version saves your level, but does not save your experience points.  Like, if you have 499/500 and then die/save, you'll start back up with 0/500.  However, if you hit 500 and get your level, the next time you die and save you'll be at 0/1000 (or whatever the experience hike is).  I would imagine the FDS version is the same way, but I don't know.
