Hi! Nice to see this forum, I never dream that such forum will present since Nintendo era.
I really appreciate it.

I would like to know how people backup their cartridge or disc to PC in so-called rom format?

I have still got over 100 disc and 2x cartridges. I would like to backup some of them since
Disc are degrading day by day. Also, there are many rare system tools such as Game Edit, Local Man Made Disc Copy program for non-MOD disc System.
If I throw them all would be a waste.

Thanks for sharing!

You can dump most cartridges using CopyNES from Retrousb.com.

For backing up disks, you'll have to use either FDSLoader or a MGD1. There are some lesser-known ways, too, like Pasodisk, I-Line, and DiskTako for disk dumping & writing, but I've never been able to get the hardware to try them out. Some disks have copy protection that will not allow them to be dumped or copied. I've found ~6-8 games like this out of the hundreds I've dumped, so it's probably not too many.

I can dump disks if you're interested. If the disks are really cool, I'll even do it for free provided you pay shipping both ways. PM me if you're interested and we can talk more specifics. Also, it's possible I may already have dumps of some of the disks.
